


We create a custom curriculum that addresses the needs of our children. Included in that curriculum is introductions to and review of colors, shapes, letters, numbers and counting. Every month we focus on learning new things and reviewing what we have learned in the past. We also work on prewriting, writing, and using scissors.
Our themes for this year are
Winter, New Years, Martin Luther King Jr., Valentines Day, Black History, Presidents Day, Ground Hog day, St. Patricks Day, Dr. Seuss, Weather, Plants and gardening, Reading, Easter, Spring, Flowers, Bugs, Mothers Day, Farming, Fathers Day, Camping, Independence Day, Oceans, Summer, Back to School, Health and Nutrition, Dinosaurs, Apples, Trees, Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving, Veterans Day, and Christmas.


infants
Our infants, up to the age of 1, are included in our infant program. As a part of the infant program our infants are nurtured and they have their needs consistently met. Our infant care is taylored towards the parents preference and is reviewed with the parent as the infant grows. Our infant curiculum is taylored towards the infants needs.

Toddlers
Our toddlers ages 1 up to the age of 3 are included in our toddler program. As a part of the toddler program our toddlers work on the skills of potty training, color and shape recognition, introduction to letters and numbers, beginner scissor and prewriting skills. The custom toddler curriculum aligns with the curriculum of the entire center.

Preschool
Children age 3 up to kindergarten entry are included in our preschool program. As a part of this program the children learn prewriting skills, letter and number recognition, number and counting skills, scissor use, as well as color and shape review. The custom preschool curiculium aligns with the curiculium of the entire center.

School Aged
This classroom provides before and after school as well as a summer school program. During the school year this age group is offered a nutritious breakfast prior to boarding the bus to North Shelby. After school the children are offered a healthy snack. During this time various activities are offered including arts and crafts, a time to complete homework and/or outside activities. During the summertime, the school aged children, follow a custom curriculum that aligns with the curriculum of the entire center.






Daily
Schedule
Children arrive between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Breakfast begins at 8 a.m. Following breakfast we have a morning welcome followed by wake up and move activities.
Once our minds are awake and ready to learn we start a themed educational activity. These are adjusted throughout the lesson to meet the childs needs and interests.
Lunch is served at 11:00 a.m. After lunch we enjoy reading and quiet time which sometimes leads to a na or two. As the children awake from naptime they engage in quiet play until snack time. Snacks are served at 3:00 p.m.
After our favorite time of the day (snack time) we enjoy a messy time of arts and crafts. After creating our masterpieces, we enjoy free time until we say our goodbyes and head home for the day.
