As the only licensed childcare located in Shelbyville, MO., we offer an affordable, high quality, educational childcare that promotes each childs social/emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Philosophy
We provide a hands-on interaction with the children. The childcare staff provides different learning opprotunities by supplying different activities based on the childs interests.
We allow them an environment promotes learning by exploring and discovering through play. Although we have many open-ended play opprotunities, we follow a few structured activities during the day as well. We find it important to keep some structure within the day to help build a foundation for success.
Honeybee Learning Tree is a licensed childcare facility that receives support from the Child and Adult Care Food Program to provide healthy meals to your children. This facility is also contracted to provide services through the Missouri Childcare Assistance program. Meals offered include breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
Honeybee Learning Tree is partnered with Douglass Community Services to offer Early Head Start services, for families that find it more convenient to attend a private child care due to extended hours, personal care and home atmosphere. Families receive all the benefits of being involved with Early Head Start while enjoying the conveinience and realtionship of their local childcare provider.
